I'm just learning the characteristics of the ISO series components and I ran across this anomaly with the ISO7241A; ref page 13 SLLSE18 –JANUARY 2010. So my question is this : Does this technology (galvonic isolation using capacitors) have inherent concerns for noisy signal conditions?
Is this type of anomaly occur for other components of the series type?
Here is the Anomaly description :
An ISO7241A anomaly occurs when a negative-going pulse below the specified 1-μs minimum bit width is input
to the device. The output locks in a logic-low condition until the next rising edge occurs after a 1-μs period.
