Why does TLK105 have one LED?

TLK105 has one LED, but competition manufacturer (SMSC etc).have often two leds.
Why TLK105 I would have only a single LED?
Is it to reduce the product cost?

we have a new version TLK105L which boasts 2 leds. we will have samples available by end of july.
