Hello,

We want to used a LMH0394 in our application.(adapter hotlink link)

In intput we have 2 coax cable 75 ohm, and in output we have 1 coax cable 50ohm.

Is it possible to use the LMH0394?

if no, Have you a other solutions?

    Hi Rachel,

    LMH0394 has high input impedance(i.e about 1.2K). So the device input can be used either with 75 ohm or 50 ohm external termination. In the data sheet, 75 Ohm is shown but this part can be used in 100 ohm differential input as well(Please note DS30EA101 data sheet). 

    Also, you can use the part in a single ended fashion, like what is shown in the data sheet for 75 ohm, or it can be used differentially as well(please note DS30EA101).

    On the other hand, on the output the device has LVDS structure and should be used differentially. 

    Please send us your bock diagram in a case there is further question.
