I2C Control to remote image sensor through DS90UB913/914

Hi TI,

I use DS90UB913/914 to control remote image sensor, I can access DS90UB914 and after set the register 0x21 of DS90UB914 to 0x97 I can access DS90UB913 too, DS90UB913/914 spec says I can access the remote image sensor with DS90UB913 I2C pass-through mode, I read the register 0x03 of 913,the value is 0xc5,I think the 913 pass-through mode is enabled, but I can't access the remote image sensor.Can you help?

Hi XH,

If you are using DES reg0x27_b[7]=1 with pass through all enabled, only access to the SER is available and remote slave (camera) is not. You will need to set reg0x03[3]=1 for pass through mode and program the remote slave/alias registers. This is described in the Appnote (SNLA222 ) - http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla222/snla222.pdf
