Hi,

We received some inquiries from my customers.
Our customers are in trouble.
They use EVM board, try to evalute it, supplied EVM board to 9V battery, choosed HDP signal.
However, this image was not displayed in TV.
So, please tell me the evaluation procedure(JMP settings, sequence, etc.).

But I already have obtained it from TI Japan.

Hello Kato,

I'm sorry but I don't understand the requirement, the EVM User's Guide explains how to configure the EVM for a HDMI or a DVI switch functionality, the document indicates the jumper position for each configuration.

Can you elaborate more on what is the configuration they need.

I'm sorry that you are confused in my English.
Our customers would like to use DP to HDMI converter.
However, the image was not displayed in TV by using SN75DP139 EVM board.
How should we do evaluation procedure(jumper settings list, power-up sequence, DP/HDMI connected order, etc.)?

In addition, we have one more basic question.
The SN75DP139 supports Dual-Mode DisplayPort source device.
Is it backward compatible with an existing DisplayPort source device?
If your answer is "No", Does it support Dual-Mode DisplayPort source device only?
We thought that it would cause.

Hi, Elias-san,

We were able to resolve some questions.
We tried to evaluate SN75DP139 EVM board, pc image was displayed LCD by using Dual-Mode DisplayPort source.
We understood that the SN75DP139 supports Dual-Mode DisplayPort source device only,
but does not support DisplayPort source device.
So, we have another question for you.
Do you have solutions that supported DisplayPort source device?

For non-dual mode source TI has the SN75DP130. Do you have a TI representative who knows about your project?

We understood that the SN75DP130 supports DisplayPort source and Dual-Mode DisplayPort source.
But our customers would like to use DisplayPort to HDMI converter.
