Regarding to TMDS signal termination

I am implementing my design based on TFP410.

The outputs fom TFP410 are connected to a HDMI connector.

Please confirm me: should I put 100ohm termination resistor across TMDS signal at my side? or I don't need to connect those ternimation resistos since receiver has those ternimation resistors.

Hello,

DVI receivers usually have internal terminations, but you must go to your Receiver's specification to be sure if it has or not.

My HDMI connector will be connected with computer monitor.

Do you think computer monitor has those ternimation resistors?

Hard to know.

You can use a multimeter to measure the resistance from one of the TMDS lines to ground, it should read 50ohms, make sure the receiver is powered.
