AM26LV32E-EP max operating frequency over full military temp range

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM26LV32E-EP

Hello,

I am looking to use the AM26LV32E-EP and I wanted to know what is the worst case max switching frequency for the full military temperature range.  The datasheet states that it is specified for -55 to +125C operation, but the only max operating frequency is 32MHz which is typical with a Ta=25C.  What is the maximum worst case moperating frequency from -55 to +125C. Is there a curve available or just a guaranteed minumum for both extremes?

Thanks.

  • The switching Characteristics documented on page 5 of the datasheet apply "over recommended operating free-air temperature range", even though the TYP is stated for 25C.  Therefore the MAX applies to the full temperature range.  As you noted, the Max Operating Freq is not stated for MAX, but the general 'rule-of-thumb' is the inverse of (tPLH + tPHL).  For TYP, this is 1/32ns ~ 32MHz, and for MAX is 1/52nsec ~ 19MHz.
