TCA9535 pull up resistor for interrupt output

Hi,

I have a TCA9535 If a use 1K for the Interrupt output pullup resistor should it work? I always obtain a 0 level when I read this output although I change the inputs in the TCA9535.

Hello Luca,

Any change to the input state will result in the interrupt pin pulling low, this is described in further detail on page 2 of the datasheet. A 1k pullup resistor will be fine.

Thank you Andrew, I was wrong and I was expected a high level for an active interrupt output. Now it's working properly
