Hi Team,

Our customer is planning to connect LMH0384 input with the 100 Ohm differential signal.

I drew the schematic as attached.

Could you please give us advice whether schematic 1 is better than 2 or not ?

It seems that "Schematic 2" could be used but the amplitude may be half of "Schematic 1".

Either or the two schemes would work, but my preference would be for the termination as shown in Schematic 1. This does not require that the transmit and receive share the same ground reference, and is a truly differential approach.
