Question of LMH0030 Jitter

Hello,

Customer have some problem of LMH0030 working board.

1.Camera->ISP(SMC1030)->LMH0030->(Canare cable)->LV5800(LEADER, Multi monitor)

2. Camera->ISP(SMC1030)->GV7600 EVK->(Canare cable)->LV5800(LEADER, Multi monitor)

#1, Occur TRS error and T.J(0.46UI), C.J(0.43UI) and Jitter is NG.8311.Q-LMH0030_첨부.docx

#2, Competitor part is T.J(0.18UI), C.J(0.08UI) and Jitter is Good.

 

I think, LMH0030 is very simple Hardware type Serializer and EVM and Ref.Schematic is not show at Ti site.

Please send me your comment, IF I don’t know setting method and other key point.

    The LMH0030 does not reject a lot of the jitter that is present on the clock used for the serialization, and often cameras have poor quality clocks available - I would look at the jitter profile on the clock that is being used to serialize the data for the LMH0030.
