Hi,
The TPD1E10B09 datasheet states equal performance in either orientation but then says that pin 1 should be placed on the signal line and pin 2 to GND. Does the orientation really matter? (if so, why?). Our contract electronics manufacturer would prefer to ignore the orientation of this part if possible.
