RS-485 transceiver (half-duplex) with "auto direction"

Are their any TI RS-485 transceivers with "auto direction", i.e. half-duplex devices without DE and RE# pins?  I'd like to avoid the requirement for the extra GPIO pin in order to reduce software effort and not have to worry about interrupt latency, etc.
