Can you please explain what makes this “EMC optimized”.  Test results, etc?  (SN65HVDA1040A-Q1)

    This generation of CAN transceiver was designed to balance the EMC at a complete level for a balance of good ESD and immunity performance while having low radiated emissions.  The balance of this was state of the art and designed into the transceiver vs previous generations of CAN transceivers that had an Rs pin which limited the slope of the transceiver.
