Our customer has a question about SN65C1168E.
I'm posting the question for a customer:

We need to connect capacitors between input-1A(2A) and input-1B(2B)
of receivers-SN65C1168E for protecting signals against noise.

We have one question;
How much capacitance will we need to connect ?
Please tell us the maximum permissible electric capacity.

Takishin,

60pf is present on figures mentioned on page 6 of the data sheet. That would be OK.
Will there be any series resistor between the termination resistor and the A & B inputs?

Takishin,

The receiver does not mind the capacitance however the other driver will need to change and discharge that capacitor.
Also the capacitor will not match the line impedance. Therefore, I recommend the minimum capacitance to get the noise relief.
Series resistors can help with the impedance mismatch.
