Looking for ESD protection device,replacement to ON, ESD9B3.3ST5G?

Hello Eli,

The TPD1E10B06 would be an excellent replacement for the ESD9B3.3ST5G. The TPD1E10B06 has +/-30kV protection whereas the ON Semi part is only rated for +/-18kV, and the TI part's capacitance is lower at 12pF. While the package sizes are very similar, the TPD1E10B06 has a slightly smaller pitch, which may require a different footprint.

Heelo Scott,

it looks ok but the TPD1E10B06 t offers Vbreakdown of 6V and customer diode is 3.3V, because voltage greater than 3.3V can cause damage to the IC's pins - so 6V is not giving good protection. if you can find a lower Vbreakdown TVS diode as a replacement please send me.

Hello Eli,

To clarify, the min breakdown voltage of the TPD1E10B06 is 6V, while the ON Semi part specs a min breakdown voltage of 5V. The ON Semi part does have a reverse working voltage of 3.3V versus 5.5V for the TPD1E10B06. This is our best cross match part for your request.
