Now we are designing our system with TL16C550DIPFB, then would like to clarify whether our configuration is correct.

    The configuration described seems to be correct, I only have one question and one optional suggestion :

    Q: What do You mean with in the point 8 "The baud rate per one UART is commonly set on both transmission and reception"?

    S: I would rather to use small capacitors in order to connect to GND the signals /CTS, /DCD, /DSR and /RI.

    With regard to your inquiry of point 8, please let me inform you as below;

    This means that per one UART channel, if transmit side select 9600bps, receive side also select 9600bps, not select other baud rate.
