Application Note SCPA032 is specifically written for PFC8574.

Is the Interrupt description applicable to TCA9539? If not, where I can find more details about interrupt handling.

    Hi Darko,

    Interrupt handling between the PFC8574 and the TCA9539 are very similar. If you are looking for device specific information I can point out good places to look on the datasheet

    • Page 5: Contains the simplified schematic of the IOs to show what triggers an INT
    • Page 12: Figure 9 & 10 show timing diagrams of the INT, changing IO and read pulses from the I2C master to show how interrupt behaves in a system
