We are asked what the Maximum propagation delay tPD is for DS110DF410.

Do you have any information ?

Customer needs to take into account tPD(MAX) for system total delay time.

Hello Kawai,

The typical propagation delay (a.k.a. latency) through the device from input to output at 10.3125 Gbps is 300 ps, as I'm sure you saw in the datasheet. The maximum propagation delay is not a tested/guarenteed parameter; however, based on the Retimer's architecture/design, I can say that the worst-case propagation delay will be much less than 1 ns, more like 500 ps (i.e. 5 UI at 10.3125 Gbps).
