Please advise me on the questions bellow.

Can HD3SS3412 be used to switch XAUI signal between MAC and Phy chip?
Please also let me know if it can switch 1GB Ether signal between MAC and Phy chip?

Hello Mita,

this switch is a passive switch, so it does not care about the protocol as long as the input signal meets the specifications described on the datasheet.

The switch is advertised to work at 12Gbps, if you need to switch a 1 gigabyte signal that would be 8Gbps so it will work.
