Current SN75ALS194N is used now,

Can I use N65LBC174N (pin to pin compatible) instead of SN75ALS194N?

in other words,

Is it possible to replace SN65LBC174N instead of SN75ALS194N without any H/W changing?

    Hi Eric,

    From comparing the datasheets, it looks like you can change to the SN65LBC174 from the SN75ALS194 without any hardware changes. The only differences I see are in the timing characteristics. Ths LBC174 is a little bit slower than the ALS194, so you will need to make sure that it still works at the speeds you are operating at.
