DP83848 performance of short distance

Dear specialist

About DP83848, Have you evaluated for short distance transmission?

My customer wants to know performance of short length ?
(They want to know the performance of 50cm.)

If you have, could you teach the length, evaluation time and error rate.
Any kind of test(mass pro,development or other) is OK.

    The DP83848 is designed to meet or exceed the IEEE specifications for bit error rate for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX communications over the conditions described in the datasheet.  This is true for cables of short and long lengths.  Using a 50cm cable should not pose any problems.

    Yes, I know that the ethernet device is made by following IEEE 802.3.

    The performance is ok.

    I will respond to customer again.

    the customer want to know the real data. Do you have any data of short distance?
