Although t(rise) & t(fall) of SN75DP139 is writing it to the data sheet as 75ps (min),

when set to <75ps, what kind of problem occurs?

* The 11th page of the data sheet

Thank you for your consideration.

  • If the rise/fall time is less than 75ps the DP139 will not detect the change on the input signal and data will be lost.

    Regards.

  • Dear ELIAS VILLEGAS-san

    Thank you for the advice.

Moreover, please let me know by addition.

Rise or Fall (a waveform rise & fall) After carrying out, is data lost even when the level is kept for a definite period of time? (EYE is open)

I think that it may be unable to detect when it is alike immediately and returns to the original level, (Immediately L->H- >L etc.)

I think that detection is possible when the state after rise/fall continues (it does).

Please let me check just to make sure.

    Best regards, Satoshi

  • Although I was allowed to consult again, how is it?

Since it will check for old information if insufficient, please advise.
