Any discussion/notes of extra ESD protection - if needed - and/or DC feed short circuit protection?

Hi Mietek,

In most cases, external ESD protection is not necessary when using the DS90UB913/914 since the device’s ESD rating is 8kV contact (ISO/IEC) and 15kV air. What are your ESD requirements?

Thanks for your answer.

I don't have defined yet any special ESD requirements, so the internal protection may prove to be sufficient.

Just wanted to know if there was any discussion/app notes about this subject.
