Terminals DS0, DS1 and DS2 determines if the port is going to be 1394a or 1394b, also I recommend to use a port termination network for a billingual port (see attachment), in this way you can connect both 1394a and 1394b with no further changes.

The input current is specified on the Absolute Maximum Tale available on datasheet.
