I am making a video redriver and would like to use the tpd7s019 for my esd protection. I am going to place one on my transmit side in the configuration shown in the datasheet where device is placed between the VGA controller and the connector. I would like to place on my receive side if possible.
What do I need to do with the DDC lines if I were to use this on the receive side?
If there were a transient on the sync line, could it zap the buffer?
