Hello 

          We have some question and need your help to clarify.

1. The below is EVM brd file that we provide to customer. REFCLK-/ REFCLK+ should routed by differential pair on  board, right? Why is the little different thickness by layer 1and layer 4? 

2. what are the trace impedance of TPA[0:2]+/- , REFCLK+/-, TXN/P, and RXN/P as below?  Thanks

    Hello Patrick,

    The thickness of the board should be calculated to get the required differential impedance, so according with your impedance requirements you calculate the thickness, trace width and other variables. If you select "Show Diff Impedance" on your software you should get a value close to 100 ohm on the EVM.

    The differential signals should have a differential impedance of 100ohm.
