TUSB7340 issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB7340

I use TUSB7340 for usb3.0 interface application. now i use TUSB7340EVM and use Linux3.4 version.   find some time don't enumerate usb3.0 device.  and the usb3.0 host port don't enumerate device till reset TUSB7340EVM. or use another usb3.0 host port, then this host port can work. would you please give some advice? thanks

  • Hi Amanda,

Kernel 3.4 is a bit old, therefore the xHCI driver stack will not have the latest changes/fixes so the behavior of the TUSB7340EVM may be a little bit unstable (as you are experiencing). My first suggestion is to update your system with the latest stable kernel version available at kernel.org this way you'll get the latest xHCI driver stack.

    Best Regards,

    Alexis Cortes.
