Hi,

Please let me ask you what is the best way to do with the unused output of LMH0346, +/-SCO/SDO2 pin (Pin14,15).

It was good if the device had disable function for each channel, but it can only enable or disable both output at the same time.

Shoud we just connect 100ohm termination resistor between Pin14 and15 ?

We want to minimize the influence to the main signal SDO1.

* There is an app note enabling SMBus access, but our customer will use in Pin mode only.

It is best to terminate the unused LMH0346 CML output with a 100Ω resistor placed between the two output pins.

With SMBus access, the output channels can be independently powered down (saving approximately 24 mA of current per buffer).

Thank you for the answer. I will recommend cutomer to terminate with 100ohm.

Also thank you for the information about the SMBus access.

Customer will use in pin mode.
