Hi,

Looking for the channel link (camera link) equalizers (drivers) for distance of > 20m.

These devices should be connected to the devices with channel link protocols of at least 85Mhz like DS90CR287/DS90CR288.

I heard that these devices are used in the frame grabbers, camera’s and repeaters.

    Hi,

     

    The biggest challenege to extending the lenght of Camera Link signals is not the loss of the cable but rather the skew introduced by the cable. Loss can be easily compensated for by equalizers. For a list of LVDS/CML compatible equalizers you can consult www.ti.com/lvds and look at the devices under the sigcon subsection.

    Compensating for skew can require some more advanced system level concepts such as training patterns and FPGA based deskew algorithms.
