Hi,

Please let me confirm about the behavior of DS10CP154A.

Our cusotmer will use all 4channel of this device, controling throuh SMBus connection. In the case of switching the crosspoint of OUT0 only, would there be any glich or noise to the other channel (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3) ?

Please find the attached file for detail.

Best Regards,
Kawai

  • Hi Team,

Could we have your advice ?

I believe that re-setting the same value in the register (no change in switch) would not have glitch or noise in the output.

  • There should be no glitch or noise on the other outputs when switching the connection of one of the outputs (as described for this application).

The DS10CP154A architecture allows any input to connect to any output.  This selection is made independently for each output, and changing which input is routed to a particular output has no effect on the other outputs.

I've verified this using our EVM; there is no observed glitch or noise on the other outputs when switching the connection of one output.
