TLK10002 Rx Flow

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK10002

Dear,,,

I understand the function from Low side to High side (serialization and Tx).

However, I have a question about the reverse flow -  from High side to Low side (deserialization and Rx).

step1 sender :  I send the serialized data to remote site through optical fiber (SINGLE line).

step2: receiver : How can I get the clock which  Low side circuit of the receiver unit needs ?

I guess I can make the clock with the recovered clock. Am I correct?

Best Regards,

K.I. Koo

  • Hi K.I,

You are correct. You can use the recovered clock for the HS data stream on the TLK10002 to clock the data out of the LS Rx side of the device back to the FPGA or what ever the next device is. Please let me know if you have any additional question?

    Regards,

    Mike
