Dear,,

Incomming data to TLK 10002 should be 10B8B encoding, right?

I am considering TLK10002 for DVI TMDS data transmission.

I heard that TMDS encoding scheme is 10B8B but its code is different. (I don't know in detail)

This transceiver works with TMDS with no problem ,doesn't it ??

Hi K.I.,

The TLK10002 does support a 1:1 Retime mode in which the 8b/10b encoder and decoders are by passed. There are some nuances about this mode though that you should read about in the data sheet on page 11. Take a look at the TLK10022 also. It is a Link Aggregation device that we did some successful lab testing with using TMDS data before it RTMed.
