Could the DP83848I be certified according to DO-254, DAL A?

Hi,

 We have a board that needs to be certified according to DO-254 DAL A. The board includes the DP83848I Ethernet PHY.

Did TI certify this device according to DO-254 level A? Do you have any documentations that could help certifying it?

Is this device certifiable?

    Avi,

    We have not submitted any DP83848I designs for DO-254 DAL A certification so we do not have any certification or any documentation to help with certification.  I am not sufficiently familiar with the standard to comment on whether or not the DP83848I is certifiable, but if you could identify some of the key requirements for certifying the device, I can provide some guidance related to the device functionality.
