Hi,

I would like to make sure if this 8x8 crosspoint switch could acted as 1:8 1.25Gbps SGMII replicator. Thanks.

Andy,

SN65LVCP408 can be used as a 1:8 fan-out for 1.25Gbps signals. Keep in mind that SN65LVCP408 is a buffer based cross point switch and does not have a CDR so there is no re-timing of the SGMII data.
