Hello!

Please let me know if LMH1983 HVF inputs are actually time reference signal (TRS) codes in accordance with BT656 and BT1120?

In other words, plase confirm, that HVF inputs are as follows:

H :  When 1, the video is in a horizontal blanking period.

V :  When 1, the video is in a vertical blanking period.

F :   When 1, the video is interlaced and in field 1; When 0, the video is either progressive or interlaced and in field 0.

    In LMH1983 datasheet there are two pictures showing differen ways to feed Hin, Vin, Fin of LMH1983.

    This one shows that Hin, Vin, Fin is fed with Hsync, Vsync, Fsync:

    This one shows that Hin, Vin, Fin is fed with Hblank, Vblank, Fblank:

    Which one is correct?

    Or maybe both are correct and  Hin, Vin, Fin of LMH1983 for proper operation can accept either Hsync, Vsync, Fsync or  Hblank, Vblank, Fblank ?

    Please clarify.
