Hi,
I have some questions using the ISO1540. I have 14 slaves they communicate over an I2C bus with a microcontroller. Each slave has its own pcb an its own power supply (5V). So side1 of ISO1540 will have a supply voltage of 5V, side 2 will be the I2C bus side which will have 3.3V (or 5V). The image shows my topology.
My first question is, are there some restriktions when using 14x ISO1540 on one bus? Is there a problem using 5V power supply on side 1 and 3.3V on side 2? How many pull up resistors does I need for ISO1540, on side 1 and side 2 or only on side 1?
I would be grateful if somebody could help me.
