DS90UB913/14Q to CSI-2 interface

Hello

Automotive customer is preparing advanced multi-camera video system,  connected via LVDS in 10/12b standard based on DS90UB913/14Q pair. They need to convert data from LVDS to CSI-2, similar to as shown in note of DS90UR910Q:

But according to the table below:

- DS90UR910Q is NOT compatible with the mentioned SER/DES pair. 

Can we propose a circuit converting 913/914Q directly to CSI-2? Even with competitive ICs…

If not -  can we propose a cheap (small…) solution converting LVDS data to CSI-2 (indirectly, 10/12b -> CSI-2 converter)?

    Hi Miro,

    The DS90UR910Q is NOT directly compatible with DS90UB913/4. In addition, the DS90UR910Q needs to be paired with a FPD-Link II serializer. The serializer (ie 905/907/925) is expecting a dRGB (18- or 24-bit RGB color) input format. This can be implemented with a 3 chip solution such as:

    914 -->YUV/RAW--> FPGA --RGB-->  DS90UR905Q  --FPDLink2-->  DS90UR910  --CSI-2->

    As for alternative solutions, you may consider Toshiba TC358746 MIPI Bridge.
