Daer all,

It seem that my installation of the eeprom burner utility is very slow. it take more than 10 min to program a 128k eeprom... It test it on different computer, same behavior. Did you already encounter this problem?

Hi David,

That tool is very old, therefore the programming is pretty slow, so the behavior you are experiencing is not odd. We are working on a new EEPROM burner utility for the TUSB3410 which will be significantly faster. As soon as the tool is finished we will post it on the TI's website.

Hi Alexis,

Ok thanks for the info. Previously the eerpom burner was installed on a old XP computer. On this computer we install a new XP operating system with all the last update and since this programming the eeprom of a TUSB3410 was very much slower. Is this could be caused by a windows update?

Hi David,

I don't think it could be because of that reason. Are you using the same TUSB3410 device with the same EEPROM memory and connecting the device to the same USB host? Are you programming the same firmware image?

Hi Alexis,

TUSB3410 is the same revision as the previously programmed, EEPROM size is the same and FW image are the same. USB host is perhaps different.

Did you know when the new eeprom burner utility will be available?
