My question belongs to register access during software strapping mode:

If the TLK110 is booted into "Software Strapping Mode" (PullDown on Pin 21), are there only the SWSCRx registers active or should it be possible to read out other registers (for example the manufactur id , PHY Identifier Registers "PHYIDR1") too?

    Hi,

    In Software Strapping Mode you should be able to have full access to the register list, and can read all registers.

    However, content written to registers which are not SWSCR will be ignored once getting out of the mode,

    Only SWSCR bits can be written during this mode and kept as default when getting out of the mdoe.
