Our application : video display on aircraft.
TLK2711AIRCP : only receiver is used, downstream from a Stratos optical receiver.
This design is produced since 2007, with no specific issue (TLK2711 then TLK2711A).
On some boards, we have a un-functional SerDes after a power up, if no signal is present on the differential serial input : the RCLK stays at high impedance level, as if LCKREFN is activated (but sure it is not). An activation of the SerDes power down via Enable pin allows the SerDes to become fiunctional.
And the trouble is random, not systematic at each power on.
By changing the Serdes, the problem disappears.
We would appreciate any help or comment.
