customer configure the XIO3130 EVM as "HOT PLUG MODE".

they report the deices behind the XIO3130 EVM sometime does not show up issue. The attaching device sometimes show after system reboot.

How are they connecting every pin header to configure it in hot-plug mode?

What is the operating system?

Are you following the power up sequence?

Hello Elias, the OS is WIN7. customers use the XIO3130 EVM and configure it in hot plug mode. there are 3 device attaching behind the XIO3130. the device missing issue is random. Sometimes no device show up and sometime all 3 devices show up correctly. I will ask them check the power up sequence as well.

I think there should be no configuration problem because the device missing issue is random.

Can you share the jumper configuration if they would like to configure it in hot plug mode?

Hello Peter,

The jumper configuration can be seen at the Section 1.3 of the document here http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sllu108/sllu108.pdf

Basically they just remove the jumpers and connect the DPSRTP terminals to high.

I would like to see a scope capture of DNx_REFCLK and DNx_PERST when the issue occurs.

Does this happen with different operating systems?
