Hi,

we are looking for a signal conditioning repeater which supports a wide range for the data rate. What is the lowest  Data-Rate that the DS64BR401 supports? Is a Date Rate of 50Mb/s possible?

If not, are there other signal conditioners with a wide range from 50Mb/s to 6Gb/s available?

    Hi Andre,

    I believe DS64BR401 is able to go to 50Mbps. Please note a couple of things:

    1). I am not sure if you are going to AC or DC couple. If you DC couple your Cap value should be large enough to accommodate lowest transition data pattern(the larger the better). If you DC couple you do not need to worry about this but you have to take into account power sequencing.

    2). DS64BR401 has different gains at different frequency as mentioned in the data sheet. So perhaps you need to set different EQ setting based on your data rate.
