Looking at the DAC08 series DAC and looking at the DAC7760. Is there a serial programable DAC? The DAC7760 has too large of a foot print due to parellel operation. The DAC08 (SC-70) has fixed 255 divisions, but no way to fit a curve to register. Could use a MSP430F156, but again, the foot print is large. Currently using a MSP430F2012 and then do a programable DAC conversion.
