I've implemented the same circuit given in the TUSB8040 EVM Module PDF except for the fact that I'm using it as a USB 2.0 HUB. Attached with this post are the schematics of the board I designed. On providing a suppy of 5V,2A the IC seems to heat rapidly. Please help.

Hello Ranjan,

Can you post what the thermal pad under the TUSB8040 looks like? Also, what weight of copper is used in the PCB? Both of these are important for adequate heat dissipation.
