ISO1540/1 Isolation Performance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1540, ISO1541

Hello, My name is Hidetoshi Matsunami.

I would like to ask the following questions.

What are the advantages of ISO1540/41 over ADuM2250/ADuM2251?

Because I will propose ISO1540/41 to my customer as an alternative of competitors device.

Would you have a comparison table for me if you have one?

Best Regards,

Hidetoshi Matsunami

  • Hi Matsunami-san,

I apologize for the delay in getting a response on this. In the future please post ISO and ISO function questions in the Industrial Interface forum. I am going to move this question to the appropriate forum now.

I first want to start with the fact that the TI ISO1540 and ISO1541 are pin to pin equivalent to the ADUM1250 and ADUM1251, NOT the ADUM2250 and ADUM2251 that you are asking about. The ADUM2250 and ADUM2251 come in a 16 pin package as opposed to a 8 pin package, and has different isolation ratings. Therefore, the ISO1540 and the ADUM2250 are not directly comparable.

I do however have some competitive information between the ADUM1250/1 and the ISO1540/1. Please let me know if you are interested in this.

    Thanks,

    John

  • Hi Mr. John.

    I appreciate your immediate response.

I found the competitive information between the ADUM1250/1 and the ISO1540/1 from ESP.

Could you send me directly the competitive information between the ADU2250/1 and the ISO1540/1 if you have it.

    Best Regards,

    Hidetoshi Matsunami

  • Hi Matsunami-san,
