The inputs of the DS26LV32AT will not be damaged if they are shorted together, as long as the receiver input voltage stays within the absolute maximum ratings (±14V).
In terms of the TPA2006D1, the way I interpret the datasheet is that if the device is in shutdown the VCC pin can take a maximum of 7.0 volts. This is determined by the /SHUTDOWN pin being pulled low or left floating (since there is an internal pull down on the pin). I would confirm this with the audio amplifiers team in the Audio Amplifiers Forum since I have never worked with that device. The link is below:
