TUSB2046B detected as a generic hub. Is this right?

Hi,

I am debugging a TUSB2046B designed by my team. It is currently detecting as a generic hub by windows. I am wondering this is right or should it be detected as as "TI TUSB2046B device " or as a "TI device"?

Hello Niranjan,

Yes, the TUSB2046B will be show up as a Generic USB Hub, the below image show the hardware id it should have.

thank you. I could see my hardware ids.

I have another qn, it is supposed to be 4 port device, but it is only showing 2 ports. Is this something related to my other peripherals not working properly for example enable switch or fault switch activated?

Niranjan,

It seems to be a fault on the downstream ports.
