Did TCA8424 EVM support the windows RT surface tablet PC support HID over I2C ?

I want to evaluate the TCA8424 EVM for windows surface tablet PC.

Can TCA8424 EVM connect to the windows RT surface tablet PC support HID over I2C without any microcontroller?

    Hello Leo,

    If you correctly program an OTP to the TCA8424 and connect the I2C lines of the EVM to the windows host which can be windows RT.  The EVM should be able to communicate with the host assuming the host knows to look for a keyboard on that I2C bus with the I2C address that you program into the TCA8424.
