DS90UB913/914 Using DIN port for other purpose

Hi TIer.

I'm considering DS90UB913/914. But I need some pins to transmitt from Image sensor to DSP.

I need 8 GPIO port. 4 ports are already exist in SERDES solution.

So, I'm going to use DIN port and ROUT port as a GPIO.

Can I use data pins as like below?

4 x GPO(Sensor) -> DIN x 4(SER) -> ROUT x 4(DES) -> 4 x GPI(DSP)

Other Data pins are used for BT656.

Hope to see your prompt answer.

Thanks

    If I understand you correctly, you imager does not have as wide of the datapath as the DS90UB913 has for an input port, and you would like to use the additional DIN pins to transfer additional General Purpose outputs from the camera back to the deserializer.   This is certainly possible, but you should be aware that the DIN pins will be sampled with the PCLK signal, and that this will affect the timing somewhat.
