I'm getting lot's of 'Audio Dropouts' and distortions. Cakewalk as well as Sweetwater recommend TI Firewire for Sonar X3. The problem is, I don't know which chipset and configuration type to get. My specs are below. Thanks much!
- MOBO: ASRock 98ODE3/U3S3
- Firewire card: IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers (VIA 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (creating dropouts)
- Disk Dive 1: TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 ATA Device
- Disk Dives 2: WDC WD32 00AAJS-65RYA0 SATA Disk Device
- DVD Drive: ASUS DRW-1814BL ATA Device
- My DAW: Company is Cakewalk. Product is: Sonar X3 Producer
- OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
